Arugula and Prosciutto Pesto Pizza

A simple and delicious recipe, this Arugula and Prosciutto Pesto Pizza is the perfect summer pizza recipe.

Ingredients

  • 1 pizza dough
  • 1 cup pesto
  • 1-2 cups mozarella cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup arugula
  • 3 slices prosciutto
  • 1 tbsp balsamic vinegar glaze if you can't find the glaze, regular balsamic vinegar works as well

Instructions

  • Make or prepare your pizza dough as instructed by the package. If you are looking for a great homemade pizza dough recipe, see link in the notes section
  • Preheat oven to 425 degrees F
  • Place your rolled out pizza dough on a large baking sheet sprayed with non-stick cooking spray
  • Spread the pesto thinly over the dough
  • Add the shredded mozzarella cheese on top
  • Bake on the center rack in oven for 10-12 minutes, until crust is golden brown and cheese is melted
  • Allow to cool slightly and then top with arugula and torn pieces of prosciutto. Drizzle with balsamic glaze and enjoy.
