- Smithfield Marinated Fresh Roasted Garlic & Herb Pork Loin Filet
- 3 Tbsp Olive Oil divided
- 1 tbsp butter
- 2 medium honeycrisp apples cored and sliced (any apple flavor will be great!)
- 1 small red onion peeled and thinly sliced
- 3 sprigs fresh thyme
Get Recipe Ingredients
Preheat oven to 425 degrees
Line a roasting pan with foil, set aside
Heat 2 tbsp olive oil in large skillet/pan over medium-high heat on stove
Remove pork filet from package and sear in skillet/pan for 2 minutes on each side
Place seared pork filet in roasting pan and place in oven for 20-25 minutes
In same skillet, melt butter and remaining 1 tbsp olive oil over low heat on stove
Add sliced apples and onions to pan and sauté for 20 min, until tender and golden brown (stir occasionally)
Let pork filet rest for 5 minutes before slicing
Serve the pork on top of the apples and onions
