Some great tasting, healthy Thanksgiving menu additions for all you last minute planners out there.
We are hosting a thanksgiving brunch this year and then headed to my sister-in-laws house for the main event. Hosting Thanksgiving dinner can be so stressful and in the past there is one thing I’ve learned: preparation and planning is key to a stress free meal.
I can remember the first year that my then boyfriend (now husband) and I lived together and hosted a family Thanksgiving. The guest list kept growing and we ended up with over 30 people in attendance. We literally had to go out and buy silverware and plates because we just didn’t have enough! Needless to say it was a somewhat stressful event. Since then I’ve learned to plan ahead and pick some recipes that are great tasting and simple to make.
In case anyone is looking for some last minute additions to their turkey-day menu, I’ve rounded up some of my favorite fall recipes here on the blog. They are recipes that I’ve personally all made myself and ones that we all love in my house. They are all simple to make and many can be made in advance, which is perfect when you are already worried about oven space.
