Enjoying Thanksgiving Leftovers
One of my favorite parts about Thanksgiving, is when all the guests have left, the dishes are all done and I can sit down and dig into the the leftovers.
In my honest opinion, I think the leftovers are even better than the first time around. I’m not much of a turkey fan, except in a delicious turkey sandwich! Add a little cranberry sauce on top and wow, so good!
This Cranberry Salsa recipe tastes so amazing on a turkey sandwich. It’s zesty and tangy and adds so much flavor to roasted turkey.
Obviously I’m a huge leftover turkey sandwich fan, because here’s another awesome recipe for you – a delicious Roasted Turkey, Apple and Brie Sandwich.
I hope you all enjoy your Thanksgiving and I’ve rounded up some fantastic leftover Thanksgiving recipes!

Other Creative Ideas for Thanksgiving Leftovers
In addition to just enjoying the foods in their original state again the day after Thanksgiving, these are some of our favorite “non recipe” ways to repurpose them –
- Add turkey, sweet potatoes or even green beans to salads
- Using the leftovers turkey bones to make homemade turkey broth and then adding any leftover turkey to the soup afterwards for a delicious bowl of goodness
- Creating a quick breakfast of leftover sweet potatoes and veggies (Brussels sprouts, green beans, sweet potatoes, corn, etc) with a fried egg on top
