Friday Favorite – Packaged Soup

It is what I like to call “Soup Season”….cooler weather which means nothing quite sounds as good as a nice bowl of warm soup.

I try to stay away from canned and packaged soups because they usually have so much sodium! Plus I enjoy making soup, especially ones that you can throw in a crockpot.

However, there are just some days when I can’t seem to get my self together enough to set aside enough time to make a soup from scratch. On those days I have rely on my fall favorite…boxed soup from Trader Joe’s.

These soups actually taste really good…thick and creamy, without the added calories from heavy cream or excess sodium.

Low in calorie, low in sodium and great tasting, these soups have become a staple in our pantry for those nights when you just don’t have time to make anything that requires more than 10 minutes. Especially when they only cost $2.99 a box!

We love the Butternut Squash, Latin Black Bean, Carrot & Ginger, and Creamy Red Pepper and Tomato.

Disclaimer: I am not affiliated with Trader Joe’s in any way, nor did I receive any compensation for this post. It is simply my opinion and a product I love all on my own.
