Mediterranean Diet Meal Plans Week 36

A weekly series where we share our family’s actual Mediterranean diet meal plan. The goal is to simply share meal and recipe ideas.

We share our family’s weekly Mediterranean diet meal plans simply for meal ideas and recipe inspiration for anyone else looking for suggestions. Please keep in mind that every family and person is different and this is just what works for us.

We’ve saved all our previous weekly meal plans in one convenient location – Weekly Mediterranean Diet Meal Plans.

How We Meal Plan

We go more in depth on how we go about planning meals in this post – Meal Planning Guide but just to quickly summarize –

  • Breakfast is usually pretty standard in our house so I don’t include it on our meal plan list
  • My kids either bring a bagged lunch or buy hot lunch at school so I only meal plan for my lunch (and my husband if he is working from home that day)
  • I include notes on some days to indicate if the meal is something we have to make quickly, on the go, etc. This really helps when it comes to planning meals and buying food to know our schedule in advance.
  • On Saturdays we typically eat leftovers and eat out for lunch or dinner. I indicate that on the meal plan each week but just in case you were wondering

This Week’s Mediterranean Diet Meal Plan

This week was all about trying to recipe test for new content for the website. Lots of great stuff coming up soon! I typically recipe test in the day (the lighting is better for picture/video) so it meant a lot of leftovers for dinner.

Recipe Links

Here are the recipe links to meals we enjoyed this past week –

Kevins natural foods for Mediterranean diet meal plans

The Korean BBQ Chicken from Kevin’s Natural Foods is a must have for quick weekday meals. These little meal packs are so good! Once defrosted, it takes only 5 minutes to cook and the sauce flavor is phenomenal. We served it over white rice and then threw together a little cucumber salad with rice wine vinegar, sesame oil, salt, sugar, and sesame seeds.

Recipe We Enjoyed from Around the Internet

We made this Caesar Bean Toast that we saw on Kale Maybe’s Instagram. It is fantastic! Sharing more next week on this recipe.

A family favorite, these Italian Beef Sandwiches from Pinch of Yum are a go to in our house. Easy to prep and let the Instant Pot do all the work.

Mediterranean Diet Recipes Coming Soon

This week we tested the following recipes and will be sharing soon on this website and our social media channels.

  • Shrimp Pasta Salad with Artichokes
  • Chipotle Chicken Burrito Bowl
