[lead]One thing I love about having people over is trying out new appetizer recipes. People always gravitate towards the kitchen at parties, so I think it’s important to have great snacks available.[/lead]
I made this Thai Peanut Hummus Dip that I found on Fooduzzi for the first time about a month ago when we had some friends over for dinner. It was so simple to make and I liked the fact that I could make it in advance and then just pull it out when the guests arrived. There is nothing worse than being stuck in the kitchen scrambling to get stuff done when people start arriving.
The hummus is so creamy and the peanut butter and other thai inspired ingredients give it a unique flavor. It’s not heavy and tastes great with sliced bread, tortilla chips or veggies. Versatile and delicious!
In my opinion, the chopped garnish on top is the best part of this Thai Peanut Hummus Dip. Sometimes hummus can get a little too bland because of the creamy texture. The chopped peanuts and scallions in this dip give it a great crunch.
This looks awesome! And the texture from that crunchy garnish sounds perfect. Heading over to check out the recipe now 🙂
