Sharing what we found on a recent trip to one of our favorite grocery stores. Our Trader Joe’s finds include fall favorites that fit into a Mediterranean style diet.
Trader Joe’s Finds
It’s no secret we are fan of Trader Joe’s. Luckily we have one close to us and we visit there once a week to get a majority of our grocery shopping done. It works well for our budget and our family of four.

Fall Finds from Trader Joe’s
Without further ado, some of our favorite recent Trader Joe’s finds.
Trimmed Leeks
We love using these in soups, sautéed with pasta or in this Turmeric Vegetable Broth.
Baby Beets
These cooked Baby Beets are so great for salads or side dishes in the fall. This Arugula and Beet Salad is a favorite.
Shaved Brussels Sprouts
These shaved Brussels sprouts are so easy to cook. They make great salads (like this Winter Apple Brussels Sprouts Salad) or crisping up in air fryer like these Crispy Parmesan Brussels Sprouts.
Mushrooms
Mushrooms can make a meal hearty and comforting. They are great sautéed, in soups and stews, or even mixed in with beef for dishes like tacos or burgers.

Honeycrisp Apples
My kids LOVE honeycrisp apples and they are just so good! We love them all on their own or added to dishes like Spinach Apple Almond Salad.
Winter Squash
Trader Joe’s always has such a great selection of winter squash. Spaghetti, Acorn, Delicata…you name it, they probably have it.

Frozen Fruit and Vegetables
I feel like the frozen fruit and frozen vegetable section often get overlooked. They’re perfect for fall though because a lot of fruit isn’t in season but you can easily find the frozen version. Frozen fruit is perfect for smoothies!
Prepackaged Soups
I love the soup cartons from Trader Joe’s. They are so quick…simply reheat on the stove and five minutes later you have a delicious creamy soup.

Winter Grains
Love switching up grains in the fall for hearty grains like Whole Wheat Quinoa and Couscous. They make great side dishes and additions to salads.
Juice
There are multiple juices we love including in the fall and winter because it’s an easy way to add vitamin and antioxidants to our diets. We use them in smoothies or make mocktails with them.
