A delicious and sweet breakfast in bed idea for Mother’s Day, using fresh fruit and Siggi’s yogurt to create Breakfast Tacos.
Disclosure: I received free samples of the Siggi’s yogurt mentioned in this post, however, I was not compensated for my time and all views expressed are solely my own.
If you are looking for a fun way to celebrate mom for Mother’s Day this year, then look no further than this simple and delicious Sweet Breakfast Taco recipe courtesy of Siggi’s.
Imagine how much the special mom in your life would love waking up to Sweet Breakfast Tacos, made with fresh fruit, delicious yogurt, and peanut butter. It’s a simple, heartfelt way to show your appreciation.
I also love that this Sweet Breakfast Taco recipe is kid friendly, meaning the kids can make it! We tested it out at my house and my 5 year old daughter was able to create this recipe almost completely by herself. She needed help slicing the fruit and heating up the peanut butter in the microwave but other than those steps, it’s completely kid cooking friendly.
We are huge fans of Siggi’s yogurt in our house. They have some amazing and creative flavors, plus they focus on using real ingredients and less sugar than other leading brands of yogurt. Their yogurt not only tastes great, but I love that they can honestly say their products are –
- milk from grass-fed cows
- no aspartame
- no sucralose
- no gelatin
- no artificial colorings
- no preservatives
- no high fructose corn syrup
- non-GMO verified
The Sweet Breakfast Tacos are served cold, making them perfect for breakfast in bed. Considering pairing with mom’s favorite breakfast beverages (coffee, tea, juice, mimosa), some fresh flowers and the extra yogurt on the side (I topped mine with mini chocolate chips and extra shredded coconut).
I used the coconut flavored Sigi’s yogurt and used grilled flatbread in place of tortillas, but either would work. You can see the original recipe here, plus more great recipe ideas featuring Siggi’s yogurt.

How are you planning on celebrating the special mom in your life this year?
That looks delicious Brynn! LOVE these photos too! 🙂
I like the idea of the grilled flatbread! What brand did you use so the flavors gelled well?
I used the flatbread from trader joe’s and it went perfectly with all the flavors of the taco.
Brynn your kids are adorable and while I don’t presently have any I would love to have my kids cook for me like this someday!
