We partnered with Omega Road Winery to throw a fun and festive Galentine’s Day Pizza and Rosé party with the girlies to showcase their newest Sangiovese Rosé Wine Release.
Galentine’s Day Decor
Throwing a get together can get a bit overwhelming, especially when you head to social media for inspiration. To streamline the decor, we created this “mood board” to help us create a simple yet festive party.
We wanted it to be pink/red themed in color and then use flowers, heart shaped decor and velvet bows to really bring everything together. We purchased the following from Amazon to bring our mood board to life –
- 10oz Vintage Coupe Glasses
- Pink & Red Velvet Ribbon (to tie around the glasses)
- Red and Pink Heart Garland
- Clear Acrylic Ice Bucket
- Brown Butcher Paper Roll
- Round Ice Cube Tray
Spotlight on Omega Road Winery’s Sangiovese Rosé
The star of the pizza party show was definitely Omega Road Winery’s newest wine release…their fan favorite Sangiovese Rosé.
This is such a fun and festive wine, especially to celebrate with our girlfriends. In addition to using the cute little coupe cups, we also create frozen flower ice cubes.
Obviously this step isn’t necessary but it was such a hit and a cute little added decoration. To create the frozen flowers, we simply added pink flowers to a silicone ice cube mold, filled with water and then froze until solid. They looked so cute in our clear acrylic beverage holder with the Sangiovese Rosé.
If you are local to Livermore, we highly suggest giving Omega Road Winery a visit. They have a lot of unique wine varietals and their wine tasting room is such a fun place to hang out.
Pizza Toppings
To prep for the build your own pizza party, we started off by making a few batches of this Homemade Pizza Dough. Each batch makes 2 pizza doughs, so we simply doubled the recipe to make 4.
We set out an array of toppings, sauces and cheeses so that everyone could have fun building their own creation. Topping ideas include –
- traditional red sauce
- pesto sauce
- shredded mozzarella
- ricotta cheese
- pepperoni
- olives
- sliced tomatoes
- arugula
- pineapple
- sausage
- artichoke hearts
- fresh basil
- bacon
- bell peppers
- mushrooms
- onions
We laid out a square of brown butcher paper for each guests and sprinkled a bit of flour on the paper before setting down their pizza dough. Each guest had their own cookie sheet to transfer their pizza onto for baking.
Fun and Easy Get Together with Friends
This Galentine’s Day Pizza and Rosé party was such a fun night. It was an easy party to set up and the clean up was easy as well.
Everyone took home what was left of their pizzas and all in all it was a great time.
