Frozen Shrimp to the Rescue
Here’s a tip from my kitchen to yours – always have a bag of frozen shrimp in the freezer.
It’s a great item to have on hand because –
- it thaws quickly for last minute meals you can pull together in a flash
- pairs with so many types of meals, from pasta to stir frys and salads
- it’s a great way to get your recommended 2 servings of seafood a night, as part of the Mediterranean Diet

Mediterranean Sautéed Shrimp with Chermoula
This shrimp recipe is so simple to create at home.
The shrimp is lightly tossed in olive oil, lemon, salt and pepper. Nothing too complicated about that. Then lightly sautéed in a pan for a few minutes on each side.
It’s paired with this herb filled Moroccan Herb Sauce called Chermoula.
The lightly sautéed shrimp taste so great with the semi-spicy herb sauce. It’s a delicious dish and makes a great dinner.
